Alice in Wonderland was well-received by Queen Victoria at the time. It was translated into 125 languages as well as countless adaptations, especially in theatre and film. Alice travels to a world of the unknown as seen in the eyes of one of the most beloved directors. We cannot expect anything else from Burton’s vision and imagination in 3D, which promises to keep us mesmerized and intrigued. With music by Djs Nocturna, Modboy and Shadowfaxxx, the Batcave will also have a special performance and sneak preview of “Alice in Chinatown” performed by Hawaii’s very own CHERRY BLOSSOM CABARET. Camera Obscura loves colorful arrays of Burton-esque ghoulishness and scary twins. Come and join the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat, the Dormouse, the Hookah-Smoking Caterpillar, the White Rabbit and the rest of the gang for the costume party on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at the Loft (115 N. Hotel Street) almost at the corner of N. Hotel St and Maunakea. Prizes will be given away for best costumes from Milllennium Hawaii and more. “Don’t be late !” or it’s “Off with her head.” Hope you can make it on Saturday, March 13 at the LOFT!
